coming soon...

============================================================
		  **II. CHARACTER TYPES**
============================================================

1. OLD TYPES (SCOUT / SENSHI, KNIGHT, VILLAIN)

==A. Sailor Senshi / Scout Overview

Sailor Senshi are superpowered heroines, guardians of celestial
bodies in space, who fight in stylized sailor suits. They draw
their power from within themselves, though they may launch
Sailor Senshi Attacks by focusing their power though Items of
Power. Each has an Element of Influence.

==B. Knight Overview

Knights are male counterparts of the Sailor Senshi, also
superpowered guardians of celestial bodies. Their typical
attire is formal wear, uniforms, or cultural clothing that
acts on a particular theme. This theme is usually manifested
in their Emotion of Influence and their Knight Attack. Often,
they have a strong connection to one or more Sailor Senshi.

==C. Dark Villain Overview

Vilains are charged with dark power, and they can take many
forms. They can channel this power into Dark Attacks. They
are known to carry out tasks for their masters, which often
involves draining energy from living targets. Dark Villains
are also capable of altering their surroundings with Environ-
mental Control and deflecting positive energy.

==D. Gender of Characters

The Sailor Senshi are exclusively female, Knights can only
be male, and Villains can be either one. (Although, like
the Sailor Starlights, a male civilian can transform into
a female Sailor Senshi.)

============================================================

2. SAMURAI TROOPERS / RONIN WARRIORS

==A. Ronin Armor

A Samurai Trooper's power comes from his armor. Ronin Armor
is charged with elemental powers that can be directed into a
Ronin Attack. This attack requires that he focus this energy
through his Ronin Weapon. The Ronin Armor may also act on its
own to protect its wearer, by means of a Guardian Force that
rests within it. It may also become strengthened when it is
immersed in its own element.

==B. Special Trait

His Ronin Armor is bound to him by a Special Trait, a virtue
that is a part of his personality. His Special Trait will
manifest itself outwardly as a glowing kanji (Chinese symbol)
on his forehead.

[For example, Ryo is linked to the Wildfire Armor (Rekka no
Yoroi) by his Special Trait "Jin" (Benevolence). It is fire-
elemental, and became more powerful when he was trapped inside
a volcano. He focuses the armor's power through his twin
todatchi when executing his SouEnZan ("Twin Flame Cut").]

==C. Gender Role

In the show, all Samurai Troopers are male. But, since the
power rests in the armor and the armor conforms to the shape
of its wearer, it is not unthinkable that Ronin Armor can be
worn by a female hero.

============================================================

3. MASHOU / DARK WARLORDS

==A. Special Trait

The Dark Warlords, like the Ronin Warriors, derive thier
powers from their armor. Warlord Armor is linked to its wearer
through a Special Trait as well. But, whereas the Special
Trait of a Ronin Warrior sets him on the path of truth and
justice, a Warlord's Special Trait does not neccessarily do
this. [While Ryo's "Benevolence" trait ensures that he is a
champion of justice, Sekmet (Naaza) exemplifies "Nin" ("Serene
Endurence"), which can be used for good or evil.]

==B. Warlord Armor

Warlord Armor does not draw power from an Element of Power
as a Ronin Armor does, although it may have some elemental
properties. It is typically named after an animal. [Kale
(Anubis) has the Panther (originally Jackyl) Armor, which has
an elemental connection to darkness. Dais (Rajura) has the
Spider Armor, which has no elemental connection.]

==C. Powers

A Dark Warlord can alter the environment to a degree, but his
primary area of control lies in Personality Influence. He can
control a person's desires or perceptions in such a way that
the target will tend towards corruption and evil. [Dais (Rajura)
is the Warlord of Illusion, Anubis (Shuten Doji) the Warlord
of Cruelty, and so forth.]

==D. Weapons and Attacks

Lastly, Dark Warlords can be armed with a multitude of weapons,
but they focus their Armor's power through a Warlord Primary
Weapon when they launch their Warlord Attack. [Kale's Seondary
Weapon is the claw on his gauntlet, but his Primary Weapon
is the large nodachi he carries, with which he launches his
"Black Lightning Slash."]

==E. Gender Roles

A Dark Warlord can be either male or female. [Anubis (Shuten)
transferred the Ogre Armor to Kayura upon his death, allowing
her to use its power.]

============================================================

4. DUAL IDENTITIES

==A. Sailor Senshi / Scouts and Knights

A Senshi or Knight maintains a dual identity. When he or she
transforms into their Champion of Justice alter-ego, their
true identities are masked through magical means. [For example,
Sailor Mercury's true identity as Ami Mizuno is known only to
her Sailor Senshi friends. She "looks different" to everyone
else around her.]

==B. Dark Villains

A Dark Villain's role as a supervillain is his true identity.
However he or she may choose to disguise themself to opperate
in the field unnoticed. [Nephlite often targeted Molly while
using the alias of "Maxfield Stanton."]

==C. "Yoroiden ("Armor Legend"): Samurai Troopers" Characters

However, Ronin Warriors and Dark Warlords are not magically
disguised when they activate their respective Armors. Unless
their armor contains some additional feature (such as to hide
thier faces behind a mask), they do not have a dual identity.
They can be recognized and attacked while in "civilian" form.
[Kayura was able to identify and attack Ryo and Rowan (Touma)
in the crowded streets of Tokyo, even though they were not
in full armor.]

============================================================

5. POWER DYNAMICS

==A. Access to Powers

Typically, a Sailor Senshi or Knight gains access to his or
her special powers by transforming from their normal selves
into Champions of Justice. Transforming allows them access
to their Sailor and Knight Attacks and their Elements or
Emotions of Influence.

Ronin Warriors and Dark Warlords opperate similarly. They
have no powers available to them when they are in civilian
guise. They become powered when they don their mystical armor,
gaining access to their Attacks as well as Element of
Power or Personality Influence. However, there is an
intermediate step between full armor regalia and civilian
clothing: the sub-armor. The sub-armor may provide protection
from harm.

A Dark Villain usually has access to any and all powers,
regardless of whether or not he or she is appearing as thier
true self or not.

==B. Attack "Priority"

All superpowered characters have access to one or more magical
attacks. Some of these attacks have an advantage over others
when one character's magical attack is used to defend against
an aggressor's attack or when the attacks are launched simul-
taneously and collide head-to-head. The term used to describe
this phenomenon in arcade fighting games is "priority."

The attack of a Dark Villain has priority over that of a Sailor
Senshi. The effect of a Villain's Negaverse Attack is doubled
when going head-to-head with a Senshi Attack. This may be
negated if these attack involve diametrically opposed elements
(GM's discression). However, this does not apply to Knight
attacks.

[For example, Catzi (Cooan) uses "Dark Fire," which has an
advantage over Sailor Jupiter's "Jupiter Thunder Crash"
("Supreme Thunder"), but not so much against Sailor Mercury's
"Shine Aqua Illusion." Catzi's attack has no such advantage
over Tuxedo Mask's Rose Throw.]

In this expansion, the "positive energy" that powers the Sailor
Senshi and Knights can be equated with the energy that powers
the mystical armor of a Ronin Warrior. The "dark power" that
surges through a Dark Villain can be likened to the power of
Warlord Armor, given the Warlord's connection to the powers
of evil. However, Ronin Armor and Warlord Armor are tied to
one another in their mystical origins, and their powers are
both tied to human virtue.

Therefore, barring elemental effects or other factors:
Villain Attack has priority over Senshi and Ronin Attacks.
Warlord Attack has priority over Senshi Attacks.
Warlord Attack and Villain Attack have no priority.
Warlord Attack and Ronin Attack have no priority.
Ronin Attack and Senshi Attack have no priority.
Knight Attacks are unaffected by priority against any attack.

(See p. 37 and p. 41 in the Sailor Moon RPG Resource Book for
a more precise description of how "priority" opperates in a
combat scenario.)

==C. Combined Attacks

Sailor Senshi are capable of combining their attacks with
one another. [This is seen in the instance of the "Sailor
Planet Attack."] The Sailor Moon RPG allows them to join
attacks with Knights as well, with all parties pooling their
energy into a single effort. (See p. 33-34 in the Sailor Moon
RPG Source Book for more.)

Because the "positive energy" that flows through Senshi and
Knights is the same as that within Ronin Armor, a Ronin Warrior
can combine energy with a Knight or Senshi. [Four of the Ronin
Warriors combined their strength to make a final strike against
Talpa (Arago).]

Ronin Armor and Warlord Armor are tied together by their
origins. So, if a Ronin Warrior has become "Tainted By Evil"
or a Dark Warlord has a "Question of Loyalty" (See "YOROIDEN
DEFECTS" for more.), they may combine energy with each other.
Ronin Warriors may combine attacks with each other. Dark
Warlords may combine attacks or energy with each other. With-
out the aforementioned defects, though, their energy may not
mix. Lastly, Warlords may never combine energy with Sailor
Senshi or Knights.

Dark Villains cannot combine energy with anyone.

Even though the energy is commonly combined to intertwine
their attacks or is focused through a single player to launch
a single, massive attack, the practice is not exclusive to
combat. Energies can often be pooled to achieve other, more
creative effects. [For instance, Sailors Moon, Mars, Mercury,
Jupiter, and Venus joined their power in the Sailor Teleport.
Also, Ryo, Sage (Seiji), Kento (Xiuli), Cye (Shin), and Rowan
(Touma) merged their armors into a protective field called
the Circle of Light.]

==D. Super Armor

Certain mystical armors can be "upgraded" if other individuals
contribute their power. This attribute is common to both Ronin
and Warlord Armors. [The Armor of Wildfire can accept four
other characters' power to become the Armor of Inferno. Talpa
(Arago) can absorb all five Ronin Armors and four Warlord
Armors at the same time.]

Ronin Super Armor can be powered by Ronin Armor, Senshi Power,
Knight Power, or Warlord Armor. Ronin and Warlord Armor can
be used in conjuntion with one another, but Warlord Armor can
not be used alongside Senshi or Knight Power to energize the
Ronin Super Armor.

These powers cannot be taken against their owner's will. They
can, however, be taken if the contributor is unconsious and
there is some mediating factor. (This also includes the
"Strength of the Fallen.") [The Ancient (Kaosu) used his power
to transfer the armor of two Warlords to Ryo when they were
unconsious.] Also, other heroes may force their power on the
host Ronin Armor if they feel the need, and can trigger the
Ronin Super Armor against the host character's will. [Rowan,
Cye, Sage, and Kento forced their power onto Ryo to defeat
Dara.]

Ronin Super Armor requires the powers of X number of contributors,
no more, no less. They must be contributed all at once and
released all at once. Otherwise, the power-up fails. [Ryo's
Armor of Wildfire requires EXACTLY four other armors to become
the Armor of Inferno.]

Warlord Super Armor can be powered by other Warlord Armor or
Ronin Armor. A major difference exists in that Dark Warlords
CAN steal the power of others. Doing so, however, can be
difficult. (See Dark Warlord Sub-Attributes, "Warlord Super
Armor" section.) [Talpa was able to steal the armors of his
Warlord servants, as well as the Ronin Armors.]

Warlord Super Armor can be energized by the powers of up to
X contributors. The effects are cumulative, and all other
characters' powers need not be obtained at the same time.
[Talpa progressively became more powerful as he absorbed the
nine armors one by one.]

While the Ronin or Warlord Super Armor is in effect, all
players who are contributing to its activation have no access
to their supernatural abilities. Not only do they lose thier
powers, they also contribute the entirety of their Energy
Points to the host character.

Sailor Senshi and Knights maintain their Champion of Justice
identities and appearences, but lose their attacks, powers,
and possibly the advantages of their Items of Power.

Ronin Warriors and Dark Warlords retain their armor in whatever
form it exists (full armor or sub-armor). However, they do
not have access to their attacks, powers, or any elemental
effects of their armors or weapons.

==E. "Strength of the Fallen"

Sailor Senshi and Knights have telepathic connections to one
another. When one falls unconsious, he or she can still speak
telepathically to Senshi or Knight allies. This link even
surpasses the power of death, though only for up to about an
hour.

Through the "Strength of the Fallen," defeated allies may
contribute their remaining energy points to allies, either
directly into their reserves or into a combined attack.

This telepathic link does not extend to Ronin allies, nor to
converted Warlord or Villain allies.

"Strength of the Fallen" may also be used to contribute the
fallen comerade's power to Ronin Super Armor, but cannot do
so directly, for want of a link to the Ronin Warrior. The
contribution can be made indirectly through a Senshi or Knight
intermediary who ALSO must contribute their strength.

============================================================
		**III. CHARACTER CREATION**
============================================================

1. GENERAL

==A. Game Master Discussion

The first step in setting up a campaign and creating your
role-playing persona is talking to your Game Master. That way
you can create a character that is consistent with the setting
of the game.

==B. Character Outline

First, develop a rough outline. Is your character male (like
a Knight), female (like a Sailor Senshi), or a "gender-bender"
(like a Sailor Starlight)? How old are they? What do they
look like? How would you describe their personality? Are they
aware of their powers at the beginning of the campaign? Do
they know the other characters? If so, how? What is their
history? Create an entire person before you work on building
their stats and powers.

==C. Character Points

Your G.M. will assign each player a number of Character Points
(CP) for use in building their character. CP are spent on the
Character Power Level and on Neutral Attributes.

Additional CP can be attained by giving your character Defects.
Character Defects cost Bonus Points (BP) that you can spend
on your character. (In essence, 1 BP = -1 CP.)

After determining your Character Power Level, you will be
given a number of Power Points (PP) to spend on your character's
supernatural Sub-Attributes.

It's best to finish spending all yor CP on Character Attributes
before getting into your supernatural Sub-Attributes. This is
because certain Neutral Attirbutes (such as Heightened Senshi/
Knight Power) or Character Defects (such as Weakened Negaverse
Power) can affect the number of Power Points you have.

==D. Stats

Talk to your G.M. to find out how many Stat Points (SP) you
get. It may be a standardized, flat number or it may be more
randomized. Once you have your total number of Stat Points
(SP), you can divide these points among your character's Mind,
Body, and Soul stats. (See p. 28-29 in the Sailor Moon RPG
Resource Book.) Stats can range in value from 1-12

Stats can be modified by Neutral Attributes such as "Powerful
Mind" or by Character Defects like "Hollow Soul."

Here are examples of stat values, with various fictional
characters as reference points. (Sailor Moon characters
are given in the Source Book; the rest are conjecture.)

SP	MIND			BODY			SOUL
1
2	A 4-yr-old
3	Sailor Moon		Zoycite		Jadeite
4	Typical stat value for an average adult human.
5	Cye/Shin		Sailor Mars
6	Sage/Seiji					Naaza/Sekmet
7				Ryo, Tux. Mask	Sage/Seiji
8				Sailor Jupiter	Sailor Mars
9	Dais/Rajura		Kento/Xiuli		Kayura
10	Sailor Mercury	Captain America
11	Dr. Wily		Spider-Man		Kaosu/Ancient
12	Professor X Superman Dr. Strange

==E. Derived Values

When you have your character's final stats (AFTER modifications
from Attributes and Defects), then your persona's Derived
Values can be calculated. Here, you plug in your Mind (Mi),
Body (Bo), Soul (So. Then, add any Modifiers (Mo) such as
"Energy Bonus" or "Damn Helathy!" Attributes, as well as
Defects like "Inept Combat" or "Awkward."

Health Points (HP) = [(Bo + So) * 5] + Mo
Energy Points (EP) = [(Mi + So) * 5] + Mo
Attack Combat Value (ACV) = [(Mi + Bo + So) / 3] + Mo
Defense Combat Value (DCV) = ACV - 2

============================================================

2. CHARACTER POWER LEVEL

==A. Sailor Senshi / Scout or Knight

Level 6: 90 Power Points (PP) for Sub-Attributes
	-30 damage while fully armored. -10 damage in sub-armor.

============================================================

3. SAMURAI TROOPER / RONIN WARRIOR SUB-ATTRIBUTES

==A. Ronin Weapon (2 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: None)

Every Ronin Warrior needs a weapon to fight off evil. The
Ronin Weapon also serves as a focal point from which he
channels the Ronin Armor's Power to launch his Ronin Attack.
While attacking with this weapon, the normal damage modifiers
for physical combat do not apply, as these are not "non-magical
weapons" (See p. 123 in the Sailor Moon RPG Resource Book)
and because Samurai are trained specifically for armed combat
rather than unarmed.

Level 1 - Weak Ronin Weapon. Damage Delivered is 1 * ACV.
Level 2 - Normal Ronin Weapon. Damage delivered is 1.5 * ACV.
Level 3 - Strong Ronin Weapon or two weak Ronin Weapons.
	Damage delivered is 2 * ACV.
Level 4 - Very strong Ronin Weapon or two normal Ronin Weapons.
	Damage delivered is 2.5 * ACV.
Level 5 - Extremely strong Ronin Weapon or two strong Ronin
	Weapons. Damage delivered is 3 * ACV.

==B. Animal Guardian (1 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: None)

See p. 32 in the Sailor Moon RPG Resource Book for details.

==C. Item of Power (2 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: None)

See p. 35 in the Sailor Moon RPG Resource Book for details.

==D. Ronin Attack (4 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: ACV)

Unlike the Sailor Senshi, a Samurai Trooper can only possess
one magical attack. However, this single Ronin Attack is more
powerful than an equivilent Sailor Senshi Attack. But, to use
a Ronin Attack, the character must be in possession of his
Ronin Weapon, and the Ronin Weapon must be powerful enough
to handle the Ronin Attack. Also, a Ronin Attack is far more
energy-intensive. The energy consumed is 15 * level, compared
to 10 * level for a Sailor Senshi Attack.

Like a Sailor Senshi Attack, a Ronin Attack can be used to
gain an advantage rather than deal damage (as with Sailor
Mercury's "Shabon Spray," which clouds her opponent's vision).

Unlike a Sailor Senshi Attack, a Ronin Attack is always a
one-shot event. It cannot be sustained over multiple combat
rounds. (See p. 37 in the Sailor Moon RPG Resouce Book.)

Level 1 - Attack consumes 15 EP. Deals 15 damage or a small
	advantage to the character. Opponent defents at +1
	penalty. Requires at least level 1 Ronin Weapon.
Level 2 - Attack consumes 30 EP. Deals 45 damage or a moderate
	advantage to the character. Opponent defents at +2
	penalty. Requires at least level 2 Ronin Weapon.
Level 3 - Attack consumes 45 EP. Deals 90 damage or a good
	advantage to the character. Opponent defents at +3
	penalty. Requires at least level 3 Ronin Weapon.
Level 4 - Attack consumes 60 EP. Deals 120 damage or a great
	advantage to the character. Opponent defents at +4
	penalty. Requires at least level 4 Ronin Weapon.
Level 5 - Attack consumes 75 EP. Deals 180 damage or an extreme
	advantage to the character. Opponent defents at +5
	penalty. Requires at least level 5 Ronin Weapon.
level 6 - Attack consumes 90 EP. Deals 225 damage or a primal
	advantage to the character. Opponent defents at +6
	penalty. Requires at least level 6 Ronin Weapon.

==E. Combined Attacks (1 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: Varies, usually Soul or ACV)

See p. 33-34 in the Sailor Moon RPG Resource Book for details.

Ronin Warriors may combine attacks with Knights and Sailor
Senshi. However, they may only combine attacks with A Dark
Warlord of they themselves have the "Taint of Evil" Defect or
if the Dark Warlord has the "Question of Loyalty" Defect. A
Ronin Warrior cannot combine attacks with a Dark Warlord and
a Knight or Senshi at the same time.

==F. Rejuvination (1 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: Soul)

This deals with that adrenaline rush that happens in an intense
moment. However, as the samurai do not fear death, the emotional
intensity is not as intense as with a Knight or Sailor Senshi.
(See p. 36 in the Sailor Moon RPG Resource Book for details.)

Level 1 - HP or EP increases by 5
Level 2 - HP or EP increases by 10
Level 3 - HP or EP increases by 15
Level 4 - HP or EP increases by 20
Level 5 - HP or EP increases by 25
Level 6 - HP or EP increases by 30

==G. Guardian Force (1 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: Soul)

Ronin Armor is capable of protecting its wearer from inclement
conditions. It kicks in of its own accord, without the consious
effort of its wearer. [Rowan (Touma) was protected from the
vacuum of space while in his armor, and Ryo was kept from
drowning while battling Sekmet (Naaza) underwater.]

The opportunities for the Guardian Force to be activated are
at the GM's discression. They activate if the player makes a
successful Soul stat check.

Level 1 - Protects wearer from mild harm or conditions, or
	slightly softens the effects of worse.
Level 2 - Protects wearer from moderate harm or unfavorable
	conditions, or softens the effects of worse.
Level 3 - Protects wearer from harm or inclement conditions,
	or softens the effects of worse.
Level 4 - Protects wearer from great harm or dangerous
	conditions, or softens the effects of much worse.
Level 5 - Protects wearer from excessive harm or more hazardous
	conditions, or softens the effects of worse.
Level 6 - Protects wearer from very excessive harm or extreme
	conditions, or softens the effects of a whole lot worse.

==H. Elemental Power (1 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: None)

The Elemental Power of a Ronin Armor is a double-edged sword.
On the one hand, it can add power to a Ronin Warrior when he
is immersed in his element, but it can also weaken the Ronin
Warrior when he is immersed in a opposing element. [Ryo's
armor, connected to flame, became stronger when he faught
Anubis (Shuten Doji) in a volcano. However, it was weakened
while fighting Sekmet (Naaza) underwater.]

Elemental power affects the damage a Ronin Warrior can dish
out, but also can affect their Attack and Defense Combat
Value.

Level 1 - All Ronin Warrior's attacks are strengthened or
	weakened by 5.
Level 2 - All Ronin Warrior's attacks are strengthened or
	weakened by 10.
Level 3 - All Ronin Warrior's attacks are strengthened or
	weakened by 15.
Level 4 - All Ronin Warrior's attacks are strengthened or
	weakened by 20. CV increases or decreases by 1.
Level 5 - All Ronin Warrior's attacks are strengthened or
	weakened by 25. CV increases or decreases by 2.
Level 6 - All Ronin Warrior's attacks are strengthened or
	weakened by 30. CV increases or decreases by 3.

==I. Ronin Super Armor (3 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: Soul or Mind)

It is possible for certain mystical armors to draw power from
other armors. However, a Ronin Armor can only be upgraded into
Super Armor by combining with a specific number of other
armors. Also, when one or more Ronin Warriors give their power
to energize a Super Armor upgrade, they give up their powers
in the process (though they still may retain physical attack
protection from the simple fact that their armor is still
physically present). The Super Armor can be charged if and
only if it recieves power from EXACTLY the right number of
contributors.

In the absence of a sufficient number of Ronin Armors, certain
substitutes can be made. The power of a Dark Warlord's Armor
or the power of a Sailor Senshi or Knight can be used to drive
the armor upgrade. A Dark Warlord can only contribute his
armor's power if he has a "Question of Loyalty" or if the
Ronin Warrior has been "Tainted by Evil."

All contributions towards the activation of Ronin Super Armor
must be voluntary. However, the power contribution may be
facillitated by other means, such as "Strenght of the Fallen"
or a supernatural event like the Ancient's (Kaosu's) inter-
vention.

Additionally, contributors to the power of Ronin Super Armor
may override the armor wearer's wishes to not form the armor.
To force the transformation, each contributor's force of will
(Mind) or strength of heart (Soul) must overpower that of
the Super Armor's wearer.

[Rowan (Touma), Sage (Seiji), Kento (Xiuli), and Cye (Shin)
forced Ryo's Inferno Armor to form by overpowering his desire
not to use the Inferno Armor.]

The player(s) wishing to force a Super Ronin Armor transformation
must make a successful Mind or Soul Stat check (for whichever
Stat is higher) modified by the difference between his or her
Stat and the Super Armor host's Mind or Soul Stat (whichever
is higher).

For example: Player 1 has Super Armor level 2, and his Stats
are Soul = 5 and Mind = 6. Player 2 (higher Stat: Soul = 6)
and Player 3 (higher Stat: Mind = 5) want to force the Super
Armor transformation. Player 2 must make a successful Soul
Stat check, with a -1 modifier to his dice roll. Player 3
must make a successful Mind Stat check with a +1 modifier to
his roll. If either or both of them is unsuccessful, the forced
power-up does not occur.

The Super Armor wearer now has a maximum EP of his or her
own EP plus 20% for each contributor (round up). His Ronin
Attack is powerd up, now doing 20% more damage per contributor
(rounding up). However, it also costs 20% more EP (round up).

The formation of Super Armor costs each contributor 10 EP.
Then, each contributor may give the host as many EP as they
desire, up to the maximum allowed. Until the Super Armor is
deactivated, the contributors have none of their powers.

The host Ronin Armor is altered in its appearence, though the
wearer's Ronin Weapon may or may not change. [Ryo's Wildfire
Armor is red, but transforms into a more elaborately-deorated
white Inferno Armor, exchanging the Wildfire Swords for the
Soul Swords of Fervor, which look and function very similarly.]

To form the Ronin Super Armor, all power contributions must
be made at once. If formed while in a combat situation, all
contributors and the host must forfeit their combat actions
in a single round. Formation of the super armor occurs during
the earliest contributor's action. That is, it is executed
during the turn of the player who rolls the highest total for
his or her initiative roll.

Level 1 - Super Armor activation requires power from 1 other
	character.
Level 2 - Super Armor activation requires power from 2 other
	characters.
Level 3 - Super Armor activation requires power from 3 other
	characters.
Level 4 - Super Armor activation requires power from 4 other
	characters.
Level 5 - Super Armor activation requires power from 5 other
	characters.
Level 6 - Super Armor activation requires power from 6 other
	characters.

============================================================

4. MASHOU / DARK WARLORD SUB-ATTRIBUTES

==A. Primary Warlord Weapon (2 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: None)

The Warlord Weapons opperate in much the same way as Ronin
Weapons. They act as the focal points in launching Warlord
Attacks.

Level 1 - Weak Warlord Weapon. Damage Delivered is 2 * ACV.
Level 2 - Standard Warlord Weapon. Damage delivered is
	2.5 * ACV.
Level 3 - Strong Warlord Weapon. Damage delivered is 3 * ACV.
Level 4 - Very strong Warlord Weapon. Damage delivered is
	3.5 * ACV.
Level 5 - Extremely strong Warlord Weapon. Damage delivered
	is 4 * ACV.

==B. Secondary Weapons (2 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: None)

Dark Warlords may carry additional weapons with them, though
the power of their mystical armor does not surge through them
as much as with their Primary Warlord Weapon. Sometimes,
however, a Warlord instead possesses copies of his Primary
Warlord Weapon. In the case of a normal secondary weapon,
the normal damage modifiers apply. (See "Deliver Damage,"
p. 123 of the Sailor Moon RPG Resource Book.)

[Kale (Anubis) does not have the same powers in his claw as
in his Sword of Darkness (level 1). Sekmet (Naaza) owns six
Swords of Venom, and each of them contains the same power
(level 6).]

Level 1 - One non-magical weapon.
Level 2 - Two non-magical weapons, or one copy of Primary
	Warlord Weapon.
Level 3 - Three non-magical weapons or two copies of Primary
	Warlord Weapon.
Level 4 - Four non-magical weapons or three copies of Primary
	Warlord Weapon.
Level 5 - Five non-magical weapons or four copies of Primary
	Warlord Weapon.
Level 6 - six non-magical weapons or five copies of Primary
	Warlord Weapon.

==C. Personality Influence (3 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: Soul, but could vary.)

Dark Warlords can tap into the evil that rests within every
human being. They can bring the darker side of people's psyche
to the surface in the same way that a Knight can influence
people's emotions.

Success may depend on a stat check (GM's discression). [Dais
(Rajura) has influence over Illusion, and can affect people
with a low Mind stat. Sekmet (Naaza) deals in Venom, which
has greater affect on those with a lower Body stat.]

Personality Influence may also be more difficult against a
Ronin Warrior or Dark Warlord whose Special Trait is in direct
opposition to the type of evil in question. [For example,
Anubis' (Shuten Doji's) Cruelty against Ryo's Jin (Benevolence)
trait is less effective than against Cye's (Shin's) Shin
(Trust) or Sekmet's (Naaza's) Nin (Serene endurence).]

Level 1 - Little control over a person's evil nature.
Level 2 - Moderate control over a person's evil nature.
Level 3 - Good control over a person's evil nature.
Level 4 - Great control over a person's evil nature.
Level 5 - Extreme control over a person's evil nature.
Level 6 - Primal control over a person's evil nature.

==D. Environmental Control (4 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: Soul)

See p. 39-40 in the Sailor Moon RPG Resource Book for details.

==E. Summon / Control Servant (2 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: Soul)

See p. 44 in the Sailor Moon RPG Resource Book for details.

==F. Warlord Attack (4 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: ACV)

As with the Ronin Attack, a Dark Warlord focuses the power
of his armor through his Primary Warlord Weapon (or a copy
thereof). Without it, the attack cannot be launched.

The attack can be used to deliver damage or to obtain an
advantage in battle. [Dais' (Rajura's) attack can be used to
attack or to restrain his opponents.]

Sustaining the attack over the course of more than one combat
round halves the EP requirement for the second and successive
rounds, rounding up. (See p. 37 and p. 42 in the Sailor Moon
RPG Resource Book for more on sustaining attacks.)

Level 1 - Attack consumes 15 EP. Deals 15 damage or a small
	advantage to the character. Requires at least level 1
	Warlord Primary Weapon.
Level 2 - Attack consumes 30 EP. Deals 45 damage or a small
	advantage to the character. Requires at least level 2
	Warlord Primary Weapon.
Level 3 - Attack consumes 45 EP. Deals 90 damage or a good
	advantage to the character. Requires at least level 3
	Warlord Primary Weapon.
Level 4 - Attack consumes 60 EP. Deals 120 damage or a great
	advantage to the character. Requires at least level 4
	Warlord Primary Weapon.
Level 5 - Attack consumes 75 EP. Deals 180 damage or an extreme
	advantage to the character. Requires at least level 5
	Warlord Primary Weapon.
level 6 - Attack consumes 90 EP. Deals 225 damage or a primal
	advantage to the character. Requires at least level 6
	Warlord Primary Weapon.

==G. Combined Attacks (2 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: Varies, usually Soul or ACV)

See p. 33-34 in the Sailor Moon RPG Resource Book for details.

Dark Warlords may combine attacks with each other freely.
However, they may only combine attacks with a Ronin Warrior
if they themselves have the "Question of Loyalty" Defect or
if the Ronin Warrior has the "Taint of Evil" Defect. A Ronin
Warrior cannot combine attacks with a Dark Warlord and a Knight
or Senshi at the same time.

==H. Elemental Connection (1 PP / level)

This Sub-Attribute gives the Dark Warlord's mystical armor
and Warlord Attack elemental properties. At higher levels,
it allows them to draw power from their environment if they
are immersed in their element.

Like Ronin Armor Elemental Power, it can be a double-edged
sword in an opposing or overpowering elemental environment,
or when an opposing elemental attack is made.

Level 1 - Warlord Armor and Warlord Attack have weak elemental
	properties.
Level 2 - Warlord Armor and Attack have moderate elemental
	properties. Armor adds or subtracts 5 from elemental
	attack damage from opponents.
Level 3 - Warlord Armor and Attack have moderate elemental
	properties. Armor adds or subtracts 10 from opponent's
	elemental attack damage. Character adds or subtracts
	5 to all his attack damage within an elemental environment.
Level 4 - Warlord Armor and Attack have strong elemental
	properties. Armor adds or subtracts 10 from opponent's
	elemental attack damage. Character adds or subtracts
	10 to all his attack damage within an elemental environment.
Level 5 - Warlord Armor and Attack have extreme elemental
	properties. Armor adds or subtracts 15 from opponent's
	elemental attack damage. Character adds or subtracts
	10 to all his attack damage within an elemental environment.
Level 6 - Warlord Armor and Attack have primal elemental
	properties. Armor adds or subtracts 15 from opponent's
	elemental attack damage. Character adds or subtracts
	15 to all his attack damage within an elemental environment.

==I. Warlord Super Armor (3 PP / level)
(Relevant Stat: Soul or Mind)

Like some Ronin Armors, some Warlord Armors are capable of
drawing power from other mystical armors. However, Warlord
Armor can draw strength from combining a variable number of
armors. The contributors of the mystical armor power lose
their powers as well as the physical presence of their full
armor regalia, being reduced down to their Sub-Armor.

Other Dark Warlords may contribute their armor voluntarily,
and so may Ronin Warriors if the host and contributor have
the proper Character Defects (See "Tainted by Evil" and
"Question of Loyalty" in "YOROIDEN DEFECTS" section.)

Dark Warlords with Super Armor capability may also steal the
power of other armored warriors. (No Defects are neccessary
for a Ronin Warrior ro have his or her armor's power stolen.)
Doing so, however, requires that the Warlord overwhelm his
target's with force of will (Mind) or strength of heart (Soul).

[Talpa (Arago) stole the armor's power from his servants:
Kale (Anubis), Anubis (Shuten), Dais (Rajura), and Sekmet
(Naaza). Later, he also stole the Ronin Armors of Sage (Seiji),
Kento (Xiuli), Cye (Shin), Rowan (Touma), and Ryo.]

The player(s) wishing to steal another player's mystical armor
power must make a successful Soul Stat check, modified by the
difference between his or her Stat and the target's Mind or
Soul Stat (whichever is higher).

For example: Player 1 (Mind = 6) has Super Armor level 2.
He wishes to steal the armors of Player 2 (higher Stat: Soul
= 7) and Player 3 (higher Stat: Mind = 5). Against Player 2,
he must make a successful Soul Stat check, with a +1 modifier
to his dice roll. Against Player 3, he must must make a
successful Soul Stat check with a -1 modifier to his roll.
For each successful stat check, he can steal their armor.

The Warlord Super Armor wearer now has a maximum EP of his
or her own EP plus 20% for each willing or unwilling contributor
(round up). The super-charged Dark Warlord now has access to
the contributors' Ronin or Warlord Attacks.

The formation of Super Armor costs each willing contributor
10 EP. Stealing mystical armor costs the host 20 EP per theft.
Each voluntary contributor may give the host as many EP as
they desire, up to the maximum allowed. Until the Super Armor
is deactivated, the contributors have none of their powers.

If mystical armor power is stolen in combat, the theft uses
one combat action. Beyond that, willing contributors to the
Warlord Super Armor must use their combat action to do so.
All contributions need not be made all at once. The effects
are cumulative with each armor gained until the Warlord Super
Armor is dissolved.

The original owner of a mystical armor's power can reclaim
it if it has been stolen. It must be won by force of will
(Mind) or strength of heart (Soul). The armor power's owner
must make a successful Soul Stat or Mind Stat check (whichever
Stat is greater, modified by the difference between his or
her Stat and the super-charged Warlord's Soul Stat.

Unlike the Ronin Super Armor, the Warlord's armor does not
change in appearence when absorbing the power of other armors.

Level 1 - Warlord may combine armors with 1 other character.
	It may be stolen.
Level 2 - Warlord may combine armors with 2-3 other characters.
	Up to 2 may be stolen.
Level 3 - Warlord may combine armors with 4-5 other characters.
	Up to 3 may be stolen.
Level 4 - Warlord may combine armors with 6-7 other characters.
	Up to 4 may be stolen.
Level 5 - Warlord may combine armors with 8-9 other characters.
	Up to 5 may be stolen.
Level 6 - Warlord may combine armors with 10-11 other characters.
	Up to 6 may be stolen.

6. "YOROIDEN: SAMURAI TROOPERS" NEUTRAL ATTRIBUTES

==A. Heightened Armor Power (1 CP / level)
(Relevant Stat: none)

This attribute is only available to Dark Warlords and Ronin
Warriors. It increases the number of Power Points available
for Sub-Attributes.

Level 1 - 2 extra Power Points
Level 2 - 4 extra Power Points
Level 3 - 6 extra Power Points
Level 4 - 8 extra Power Points
Level 5 - 10 extra Power Points
Level 6 - 12 extra Power Points

==B. Hidden Identity (2 CP / level)

This attribute is only available to Dark Warlords and Ronin
Warriors, since Sailors and Knights automatically have their
identities hidden, and Dark Villains can mask themselves
easily with "Negaverse Magic" or hide with "Environmental
Control."

The Dark Warlord or Ronin Warrior can hide their identity
with a facemask, by modulating their voice, or any other
number of means.

Level 1 - Armorored warrior's identity is apparent upon close
	inspection, but still somewhat hidden.
Level 2 - Armorored warrior's identity is very difficult to
	uncover.
Level 3 - Armorored warrior's identity is near imposible to
	discover.

[Anubis (Shuten), Kale (Anubis) and Sekmet (Naaza) have
facemasks that hide their identity well (level 2). Dais (Rajura)
has a very concealing mask and modulates his voice, making it
near impossible to know who he is (level 3).]

============================================================

8. "YOROIDEN: SAMURAI TROOPERS" CHARACTER DEFECTS

==A. Chink in the Armor
(Character Type: Dark Warlord, Ronin Warrior, or Knight)

The armor that your character wears is not as effective in
deterring physical attacks as it should be. This refers to
Knight Armor as well as Warlord or Ronin Armor and Sub-Armor.
Knight Armor with this defect still retains its normal defense
against magical attacks.

1 BP - Your character recieves an extra 2 damage from physical
	attacks, regardless of attacker's ACV.
2 BP - Your character recieves an extra 4 damage from physical
	attacks, regardless of attacker's ACV.

==B. Weakened Armor Power
(Character Type: Ronin Warrior and Dark Warlord)

Your character is not able to access the full power that rests
within his or her armor, thus reducing the available number
of Power Points.

1 BP - Your character's Power Points are reduced by 3.
2 BP - Your character's Power Points are reduced by 6.

==C. Tainted by Evil
(Character Type: Ronin Warrior)

Your Ronin Warrior character has peered into the darker side
of human nature, and realizes that this dark side is a part
of his or her own psyche. Now, they must rethink their ties
to their Special Trait, and it damages thier connection to
the Ronin Armor. Are they really all that different from the
enemies they fight?

1 BP - Ronin Attack damage is reduced by 15 when used against
	a Dark Warlord or Dark Villain. They may also combine
	attacks with a Dark Warlord. Dark Warlords may contribute
	their Ronin Super Armor if they posses one level of the
	"Question of Loyalty" Defect.
2 BP - Ronin Attack damage is reduced by 30 when used against
	a Dark Warlord or Dark Villain. Also, they may execute
	combined attacks and combine armors with Dark Warlords
	freely.

==D. Question of Loyalty
(Character Type: Dark Warlord)

The Special Trait of a Dark Warlord is not usually a moral
constant, but rather one of devotion to one's Shogun or boss.
However, if the Warlord becomes touched by sympathy for his
enemies or begins to question his cause, his level of devotion
begins to suffer. Because he has sworn loyalty to his leader,
does he have to fight on without faith in his leader's cause?

1 BP - Warlord Attack damage is reduced by 15 when used against
	a Ronin Warrior, Knight, or Sailor Senshi. He also loses
	his "priority" over Sailor Senshi attacks. Character
	also may contribute to Ronin Super Armor if the Ronin
	Warrior has one level of the "Touched by Evil" Defect.
2 BP - Warlord Attack damage is reduced by 30 against Knights,
	Ronin Warriors, and Sailor Senshi. Priority over Sailor
	Senshi Attacks is lost. The character may combine attacks
	and armors with Ronin Warriors freely.

==E. Unarmed Combat Defficiency
(Character Type: Ronin Warrior and Dark Warlord, or any other
character who normally fights with a weapon)

Your character is trained almost exclusively in armed combat.
This means that he or she is less effective in unarmed combat.

1 BP - ACV is reduced by 1 when fighting unarmed.
2 BP - ACV is reduced by 1 and DCV is reduced by 1 when
	fighting unarmed.

==F. Virtue Restriction
(Character Type: Ronin Warrior and Dark Warlord, but possibly
any)

Your character is tied to a particular personality trait or
some ideal. Because of their devotion to this quality, their
actions are restricted such that they cannot act in opposition
to this trait. This Defect usually applies to an armored
warrior's Special Trait, but can also apply to the religious
or philosophical beliefs of a character.

1 BP - Character's actions are mildly or rarely restricted.
2 BP - Character's actions are greatly or commonly restricted.
